Forget the Cookie. I want a Dog at Check In.

To encourage pet adoption, big-name and boutique hotels are teaming up with local shelters and rescue groups by housing furry friends in their lobby. The Inn by the Sea, a pet-friendly beach resort on Cape Elizabeth in Maine, fosters one shelter dog at a time and will eagerly facilitate a pet adoption if a guest falls in love.
