Welcome to Inn by the Sea
Dear Friends of Inn by the Sea:
Sunny days, cool nights, cozy fires, and dazzling orange and crimson foliage make fall in Maine Mother Nature’s most spectacular season- and who would dare argue with Mother Nature? With fewer visitors and kids back in school “the quiet season” is an enchanting time to enjoy a stroll through the woods to Great Pond, go apple picking at a nearby farm, or delight in a walk on Crescent Beach. After reconnecting with nature take time to pamper yourself in SPA or savor Chef David Brown’s captivating fall menu in Sea Glass.
Capture autumn magic at our nightly campfire with smores, take in the ocean views from the seaside lawn at morning yoga, or borrow an Inn bike to visit the cliff walk on the edge of the sea at Two Lights Park. The Inn’s popular pool “pawty”, where the pool closes for the season to humans but opens for guest dogs, will run from October 10-16th this year. Leashed dogs are welcome back on Crescent Beach on October 1.
The outdoor deck will transition from full menu service to cozy seating with fire tables for small plates and warming local spirits the first week of October. Gather friends and family for Chef David Brown’s delectable, seasonal fall menus. Reserve a table at Sea Glass by calling 207.799.3134.
It is with great pride I share news of some of the accolades our resort and dedicated employees continue to receive including being awarded USA Today's 10Best Eco Friendly Hotels and Wine Spectator’s 2023 Best of Award of Excellence for Sea Glass’s deep wine cellar of over 2500 bottles and 300 labels. The magazine also named Sea Glass one of their Rising Star Restaurants. Inn by the Sea made Travel + Leisure’s list for the 10 Best Luxury Hotels in Maine, and our pet policies made Yankee magazine’s Best of New England for Pet Pampering!
Fall is just around the corner, and soon to be all around with nature’s brilliant colors! The entire staff looks forward to welcoming you (back) for an autumn visit to the coast.
Safe travels to Maine!
