“Hospitality for Habitat” is a Hospitality Maine program which raises money to help build or winterize homes for Maine families. The program offers great rates and an opportunity to experience a terrific resort, B&B or hotel at a 50% reduction in regular rates at any of the participating Innkeepers across the state.
The upscale Inn by the Sea, located on a mile of sand beach just 7 miles from Portland’s urban chic small port city, has been participating in the program since its inception in 2004.
“Guests enjoy supporting the region where they love to vacation and this is a simple way to give to a great cause, “stated Michael Briggs, Managing Director at Inn by the Sea. Last year we raised $6,000 for Habitat projects, and this year we nearly doubled that contribution due to the collaboration and generosity of our guests. Every dollar raised goes directly to help Maine families.”
