Inn by the Sea Awarded I Prefer Members’ Choice Award for 2024

(Cape Elizabeth, Maine. December 18, 2024.) Inn by the Sea has been awarded the Preferred Travel Group’s prestigious I Prefer Members’ Choice Award for 2024 announced Nick Shumate, the Inn’s General Manager. According to Preferred Travel Group, the awards, now in their seventh year, celebrate the best in hospitality with 21 exceptional hotels across four global regions being recognized for their outstanding service and unique offerings. This year a record number of votes were cast by I Prefer members across the 600+ I Prefer Hotels.

According to Preferred Travel Group, the I Prefer Members’ Choice Award winners are decided by members of the I Prefer Hotel Rewards program, the world’s biggest loyalty program for independent and unique hotel experiences. This year, voter participation nearly doubled, indicating growth in both the program as well as member engagement. Ballots were cast throughout the month of October in recognition of inimitable experiences I Prefer members enjoyed at any of the 600 participating properties.
