Apple Picking in Maine

We all look forward to autumn in New England with fabulously warm days, crisp evenings, cozy fires and brilliant foliage. The weather is perfect for hiking and biking, and we, of course, think walks on Crescent Beach are amazing in any season!
One of our favorite fall activities is to go apple picking at one of the many family family run farms within easy driving distance of the Inn. Many farms offer berry and apple picking into October, some have corn mazes, family activities and fresh donuts, and most have farm stands with farm products and freshly squeezed cider and pumpkins. We have listed a few nearby "pick your own" orchards, but please check out the Maine Pomological Society at https://www.maineapples.org for orchards all over the state. We suggest calling ahead to confirm hours at these working farms, as they may change due to weather or other conditions. Happy Picking!
