Chef Brown’s quintessential Maine Clam Bakes and relaxed new dining venue, CBK, celebrate summer outdoors with delectable seasonal menus and ocean views at Inn by the Sea.
Longs days and endless sunlit evenings tempt us to soak up time outdoors while summer lasts. Enjoy handcrafted cocktails and commemorate the season with Chef David Brown’s summer menus brimming with the local bounty of fresh seafood and produce from nearby farms. The long understood benefits of visiting Sea Glass restaurant, apart from the delectable food and deep wine cellar, include the elegant charm of Inn by the Sea's gardens, oversized umbrellas on the deck for shade and a lush lawn overlooking the sea sprinkled with Adirondack chairs. This season we add two more reasons to visit this popular Cape Elizabeth eatery- a new, relaxed outdoor dining venue, CBK, (Crescent Beach Kitchen) with seasonally inspired light fare; and quintessential New England Clam Bakes every Wednesday evening through August 16.

An intimate casual, al fresco summer venue with delectable seasonal fare, fresh sea air and deep, cozy Adirondacks that easily handle both your plate and a creative cocktail. It’s Maine and it’s summer, so of course you’re going to want a Lobster Roll, lightly dressed with signature fries or a Haddock sandwich fresh from the Gulf of Maine. Lobster Tacos, Watermelon Gazpacho, Crudité, a variety of Summer Salads, Veggie Burgers or signature CBK Smash Burgers are also on the menu daily at CBK. Guests of the Inn are welcome to enjoy the menu at the pool or have it packed to go to the beach. (Public welcome)
Clam Bakes by the Sea- Wednesday evenings through August 16
The Chef delivers a traditional New England Clam Bake from ocean to table, complete with Atlantic views, every Wednesday through August 16th at 6:00PM. ($90 per person- Reservations, please call 207.799.3134, public welcome)
Enjoy Shucked Oysters, Shrimp Cocktail, Scallop Ceviche & Crab Salad at the Raw Bar. Seasonal Salads include Heirloom Tomato & Burrata, Miso Caesar & Watermelon & Cucumber. Traditional fare offerings are Sea Glass Clam Chowder, Steamed Corn, Roasted Summer Squashes, Steamed Clams, BBQ Chicken Thighs & New York Striploin. Lobster may be included for an additional market price. Save room for Peanut Butter Whoopies Pies, Strawberry Shortcake or handmade popsicles!
