Chef Chadwick celebrates delicious healthy & ethical eating in Sea Glass!

Vegan dishes just got trendy. According to Google searches, plant based diets have taken over the top search spot from 'gluten free', and last year Google Trends saw a whopping 90% increase in 'vegan' searches.

"The appeal of vegan options has grown well beyond catering to the traditional guest who avoided meat for ethical or environmental reasons to include much broader interests in clean and healthy lifestyle trends," said Sea Glass Executive Chef Andrew Chadwick. "Eating in a healthy and mindful way is no longer boring; in fact complete vegan meals are deliciously creative. Chefs are weaving plant based ingredients and whole foods together with a variety of vegetable pastas, grains and globally inspired sauces- all great for one's health and anything but bland."

Whether a vegan committed to sustainable and ethical food sourcing, a once a week 'Meat Free Friday' enthusiast, or simply concerned about the impact of meat consumption on your health, you can rein in your lust for meat with Chef Chadwick's delicious vegan menu offerings.

Plant based meals pair well with borrowed flavors from now mainstream Mexican, Chinese or Greek recipes creating unique ethnic combinations when mixed with fresh, locally sourced produce. Try Chef Chadwick's Wild Mushroom Torchon with shallot, garlic, brandy, sherry, thyme & almond milk; or Tofu with spicy sauce, sweet pepper coulis, chanterelle mushrooms, and brussels kraut; or the daily changing Sea Glass seasonal collection.

"Guests need to toss conventional ideas about vegan food- our goal is to excite with a visually appealing dish that continues to impress after the first taste, " says Chef Chadwick. "Vegan dishes answer both ethical and health concerns but area also delectable with optimal flavors and completely satisfying."
